Brooks Koepka soaks up the NHL

Just hours ago, Koepka and four of his friends headed over to the FLA Live Arena to watch the Florida Panthers take on the New York Rangers in an epic NHL battle. Having been born and raised in Florida, the golf pro undoubtedly was rooting for the Panthers to grab a win.

Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out, but that certainly didn’t stop the 4-time major winner and his boys from having a blast. Taking to Instagram, the LIV Golf defector posted a photo of the five of them at the home of the Panthers.

As they all smiled and posed for the photo, it certainly seemed like they were enjoying themselves. But the fans clearly didn’t enjoy the post as much as Koepka and his pals did being at the arena. In fact, they lashed out at the golf pro, branding his photo “cringe worthy.”

Fans claimed that the group of friends looked ridiculous. “What a bunch of D bags!” commented one fan. Another wrote, “Do***eb*g Convention?” “And unfollow…” stated another fan, exclaiming his dislike for the post. “Try hards. So ridiculous!” said yet another frustrated fan.

Many fans even targeted his golf game, pointing to his recent streak of unsatisfactory performances. “Another reason why he’ll never win again,” commented one fan, while another wrote, “This is what T42 on LIV looks like.” “This is how far hes fallen from winning us opens,” stated another hater.

It is quite clear that Koepka’s loving and loyal fanbase isn’t what it once was. But there were still some in the crowd who admired the golf great. They hoped that he would grab a Masters win next week. “Green jacket incoming,” said one wishful fan, while another wrote, “Looks like an incoming masters champ to me.”
