One of the most talented golfers on the tour, Lexi Thompson has remained absent from large parts of the season. Indeed, fans have shown their worries over the direction of her career, but the 28-year-old has assured of a return very soon. On the bright side, while she regularly updates her fans with her workout clips, Thompson spent a day honoring the Navy Seal cadets recently, which made her legion of followers proud.

The 2014 Chevron Championship winner posted pictures and videos from her time with the Navy Seal on her Instagram account. “Special weekend to be at the Navy Seal outing, and to be surrounded by men and women that serve/served our country,” Thompson wrote in the captions, before thanking the servicemen for their contribution.

Likewise, several Patriots felt proud of Thompson’s actions and voiced their appreciation. “The land of the free because of the brave,” a user commented. “USA forever great,” said another.

Another netizen, who recognized himself as British, showered his appreciation for the country. “Its great that you support your forces like you do. You are great allies to my country and our commonwealth of countries like Australia New Zealand South Africa etc. A common bond,” he wrote in the comments.

The post was just another demonstration of her enormous fan base waiting to catch a glimpse of her soon. But will the golfer return to the golf course soon enough?

Despite this, one of the game’s most popular players has seen a slump in her form. Having made a roller-coaster start to her golf career at the age of 12, Thompson has since won a solitary major championship.

The victory was at the Chevron Championship, an event that is on the horizon. There has been no confirmation on Thompson’s side regarding her participation at the event. Indeed, she has only yet made a singular appearance on the tour this season, at the LPGA Drive On Championship, where she failed to make the cut.
