Phil Mickelson, the golfer who is famous on the course for his stunning shots but off the course for hitting back at people with his words who try to bring him or LIV Golf down. There have been many instances in the past where he has engaged with people on Twitter who are bashing the Saudi League. One name that comes to mind with the mention of Mickelson’s online feuds is PGA Tour veteran Brandel Chamblee’s.

The 60-year-old analyst recently tried to put an end to his Twitter war with Lefty with a bold move that adds the golf legend to a not-so-elite cohort!

Brandel Chamblee, the former PGA golfer, and present golf analyst and commentator, is widely known for his brutally honest remarks. He rarely holds back his opinion about LIV Golf and its players. Along with his harsh remarks, the old-timer is also famously known for blocking golfers on Twitter following a heavy back and forth.

Just a few days ago, yet another name was added to Chamblee’s blocklist: Phil Mickelson’s! Of course, this didn’t come as a surprise to many. Especially not to another PGA Tour veteran, Jason Dufner, who revealed himself to also be a part of that blocked list as he publicly welcomed Lefty to the “blocekdbybrandel” club. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Congratulations, @PhilMickelson, for joining the club. I’ve been a member for years. The only problem is that it’s not very exclusive. #blockedbybrandel

Surprisingly enough, Dufner posted yet another tweet just minutes after his warm welcome to Mickelson, informing the fans that he had unfortunately been kicked out of the nonexclusive club! He sadly claimed that Chamblee had unblocked him thanks to a few “unpaid dues”. It looks like Mickelson will have to find another friendly face in the blocked club.

But what exactly went down between Chamblee and Lefty? The two had been in a constant tiff with each other for quite a while now, with the occasional Twitter back and forth, so why then did the Tour veteran use his finishing move on the LIV golfer all of a sudden? Well, it involved someone close to the recent PGA Championship winner, Brooks Koepka!

Not too long ago, Koepka’s swing coach, Claude Harmon III, took a shot at Chamblee and publicly insulted the analyst, labeling him a “paid actor”. Lefty was quick to intervene in their battle, wholly backing Harmon III in his bold statement against Chamblee. The Tour veteran, of course, didn’t take the comment well and hit back with an extremely long tweet.

Mickelson, of course, then took the foreground in the war and dished out responses to Chamblee. Eventually, their online battle came to a close, with the 60-year-old inviting the 6-time major champion to his live show to discuss things in person. And after a few of Lefty’s constant rejections, Chamblee ended their feud by blocking him on Twitter.
