Failing to make her mark on the pro tour, Paige Spiranac made sure to follow her passion and become a golf influencer. Today, the 29-year-old beauty is the most followed golfer on social media. However, with the good also comes the bad. While she enjoys a massive shower of love from her fans, she is also a victim of constant shaming. Something that has been a part of her life for a long time.

Over the past couple of years, Spiranac has often expressed her views on being shamed for different reasons. On one hand, she has often addressed the issue with politeness. However, on the other hand, she has time and again also shown a glimpse of her angry, lashing side. One such incident took place last year.

Paige Spiranac lashed out at her shamers in a social media post

As mentioned earlier, Spiranac, for a long time, has been a victim of shaming. While some call her out for her body, others call her out for her looks. Vexed by the constant hate, in January 2021, she took to her Twitter handle, putting up a tweet. Addressing the constant shaming, she put out a strong message to her shamers, asking them to calm down.

“It’s crazy I can be told I look too fat, too skinny, too plastic, too old, wearing too much makeup, not enough makeup, b***s too big, b**t not big enough, too pale, hair too blonde, not blonde enough all in one day. Guys it’s not a build a bear workshop over here. Calm it down,” the tweet read

Considering the aura of Spiranac, the post took no time to spread around in the gold world, especially in her colossal follower base. While one section backed her words and expressed their support, another section continued showering hatred on the then 27-year-old Spiranac.

This wasn’t the only time that she put out a strong message for her shamers and haters. Scrolling through her social media handles, it is evident that shaming has been a constantly addressed issue by the former pro player. In addition to social media, she also uses her self-produced podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’ to talk about the same.
