Sam Ryder has two professional wins. He turned professional in the year 2012. The 32-year-old is a part of the field this week at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale- Stadium Course. Surprisingly, the American professional made a sensational ace on the par 3, 16th hole, which created chaos on the golf field, in a literal sense.

Hole-in-ones are a feat that every golfer, both professional as well as, amateurs would like to make in their career. However, making an ace on probably the most iconic holes in golf is quite special.

Sam Ryder is one of the professionals to achieve this feat. he stole the show in the third round of the 2022 Waste Management Open on Friday. Not to forget, the notorious par 3, 16th hole is one of the loudest, as well as, the wildest holes in golf. Sam Ryder made his presence felt at the Waste Management Phoneix Open.

The professional took not more than a short iron in his hand. Ryder made a perfect swing, strikes his short iron pure, the ball landed short of the pin. The ball took a kick towards the hole and tricked into the hole for a beautiful hole-in-one. As a result, turning the fans wild. As soon as, the ball went into the hole the crowd started to throw liquor, cups on the tee box and soak the tee box with liquor.

It was not only the tee box, the green was also filled with plastic cups as well as, liquor, a gesture made by the huge gallery to acknowledge his ace. Ryder was also seen giving high fives to his playing partners and hugging his caddie after his ace.

Ryders’ round three summary

Sam carded a round of even-par, 71 in the third round of 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open. He made two bogeys and one bogey on the front nine, as a result,  making the turn at one-over-par 36. On the back nine, he made two bogeys, a double bogey, two birdied, and a hole-in-one. As a result, shooting a one-under-par, 35.
