The photographer “triggered” Phil Mickelson leading to a confrontation

Mickelson was on the final hole and was stressed about the tough second shot ahead of him. The conditions on the field were not comfortable at all; it was raining. He was all set to finally hit the ball, and as soon as he swung the club back, he heard shutter sounds from cameramen nearby.

Mickelson recently joined the LIV golf tour and as a result, left the PGA Tour. The player made many records playing under the PGA Tour but according to reports, he lost his PGA membership due to the statement issued by Jay Monahan, Commissioner of PGA.

Mickelson said before joining the tour that he would play all eight events in the Saudi-backed league.

The golf ace had taken a four-month-long break from the sport and was reportedly in therapy. In his statement about his break before joining the Saudi-funded league, Mickelson said, “This allows me to be more present and engaged with people I care about. That is why, when I think about being a part of LIV Golf, I feel so good about it.”
