DeChambeau was playing for the second round of the LIV Golf Invitational Series in Chicago. He proved he is still one of the best hitters in the sport. The eight-time PGA Tour winner struck an incredible long tee shot on the 18th hole of the course. Bryson DeChambeau only had a 6-iron in his hands. The US Open champion hit a piercing tee shot. The shot traveled 350 yards and it was surely a fantastic moment for all his fans to witness.

If the technicality is considered, the great golfers need to strike their best shot out of the middle of the face to reach 350 yards. But in the case of DeChambeau, he only needed a low iron.

Even though his shot was extraordinary, he wasn’t able to win. The 28-year-old could only make par. He carded 70 on Saturday and reached 5-under-par. It was five shots less than the rising leader, Cameron Smith.

DeChambeau has been in great form since he joined the LIV Golf Invitational Series. But one of his most notable moments was his finish of 10th. It was in July, during his debut at the Portland Invitational.

Before this Chicago Invitational Series, DeChambeau answered many questions and discussed many topics. He talked about his decision to join LIV Golf Series and his world ranking points. Also, to add to the surprise, he thanked former world number one Tiger Woods for “creating” the LIV Golf World.

He also discussed the player’s meeting. DeChambeau did not give many details but said the overall session was positive and will reserve his comments. He said that there were a lot of conversations among everyone. About LIV Golf and the PGA Tour, DeChambeau said that everyone would land on a conclusion soon, and this will work out.
