Max Homa is an American professional golfer playing diligently on the PGA Tour. The golfer turned professional in 2013 after playing in the 2013 Walker Cup. The pro golfer has won 5 times on the PGA Tour.

A video of Max Homa walking through the green without a putter was shared a couple of months back. Homa has shot an ace and was making a walk of glory. Although, on a side note, fans did make fun of his walk.

Homa and the changes LIV Golf brought to his professional life

Max made a decision to play on the PGA Tour. However, LIV’s defections of other players did change things in Homa’s professional career. The five-time PGA Tour winner has been named as the latest member of the Player Advisory Council, filling the positions vacated by two LIV players.

The Player Advisory Council, also widely known as PAC, advises and consults with the PGA Tour Policy Board (Board of Directors) and Commissioner, Jay Monahan, on issues affecting the circuit. He also talked about why he chose to stick to the PGA Tour and how the competition will affect the golf world in the future.

said, “I’m biased. I would like it to succeed out here, but I think it’s easy to look at it and say the PGA Tour is getting diluted a bit with the competition, but there are a lot of great golfers in the world and there’s going to be more coming up through the professional ranks. And even if they do split a bit, this is still currently the best competition there is in golf and I’m happy to be a part of it and try to help progress that further.’’
