Max made a decision to play on the PGA Tour. However, LIV’s defections of other players did change things in Homa’s professional career. The five-time PGA Tour winner has been named as the latest member of the Player Advisory Council, filling the positions vacated by two LIV players.
The Player Advisory Council, also widely known as PAC, advises and consults with the PGA Tour Policy Board (Board of Directors) and Commissioner, Jay Monahan, on issues affecting the circuit. said, “I’m biased. I would like it to succeed out here, but I think it’s easy to look at it and say the PGA Tour is getting diluted a bit with the competition, but there are a lot of great golfers in the world and there’s going to be more coming up through the professional ranks. And even if they do split a bit, this is still currently the best competition there is in golf and I’m happy to be a part of it and try to help progress that further.’’ADVERTISEMENT
