United States of America celebrated its 246 years of freedom on July 4! Like every year, hot dogs were a big part of its celebration. As the most popular golfer on social media, Paige Spiranac too celebrated her country’s independence, but with a twist!

The former professional golfer wore an American flag bikini to wish her followers and fans on social media. As a social media influencer, the 29-year-old used the day to make an interesting video incorporating hot dogs. 

According to reports, Americans eat 150 million hot dogs each year on the 4th of July. The majority of hot dogs are eaten at the eating contest conducted by Nathan’s Famous hot dog company, every year on independence day. 

Eating hot dogs on independence day has been a popular traditions in America. Spiranac also joined the tradition by testing how many hot dogs she could eat in 10 minutes.

Spiranac’s take on the hot dog eating challenge!

“Happy fourth of July, everyone!” the 1-time Cactus Tour champion wished her followers at the beginning of her video. 

Spiranac knew she wouldn’t be able to eat so many hot dogs without gagging. “So instead, I am gonna show you the techniques that I have picked up from the best hot dog eaters in the world,” she explained. 

The traditional, raw dog, dunkaroo, two dogs one cup…Spiranac tried every technique from the famous hot dog eaters. However, the question is…did those pass the eating test?

“I think I am going to leave this up to professionals,” she stated at the end of the video. Furthermore, she concluded the video with a wish to her followers, “Happy fourth of July, everyone! Enjoy your dogs.”

As it is evident from her video, Spiranac didn’t use any sauce but ate plain hot dogs. This irked many of her audience who went on in the comments to express their disconcern. Some of them also commented on the ‘expert’ techniques that she provided in her video.

Many also used the opportunity to wish Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive a happy independence day.
