Arnie’s event, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, crowned a new champion yesterday. Scottie won his second PGA Tour event. Not to forget, the professional won his first event at the Waste Management Phoenix Open earlier in the season. Thus, making this win his second one in his last three starts on tour.

After taming the wild Bay Hill Ledge and Club with his spectacular round yesterday, the media was interviewing Scottie. When his wife, Meredith, suddenly comes in. It was live coverage of the post-event interview. However, the champion did not just stand there. He instead paused the interview to his wife in joy. The couple hugged, and his wife said“I’m so proud of you!” to Scottie on his second win on the PGA Tour.

The moment was so heartwarming that PGA Tour decided to share this on their official Twitter page. Indeed, it was a special moment to have witnessed.

Scottie Scheffler tames the beast

On the business end, Scottie showcased an amazing golf game on Sunday. The professional carded a round of even-par, 72 on a day, where scoring conditions were tough. Therefore, he won the event with an overall score of five-under-par. He won with a one-shot lead. Scheffler made two birdies and three bogeys on the front nine. Thus, moving out in one-over-par, 37. He made one birdie and rested all pars on the back nine as well.
