However, it was not the first time his bunker shot made the headlines. In 2022, he carded another bunker shot at the WM Phoenix Open. It is safe to say that history repeats itself.

Is Spieth the bunker king?

Jordan Spieth should be named the king of the bunker shots. But the WM Phoenix Open is not the only reason behind it. He has done it many times before, which has made headlines. The pro golfer hit an insane bunker shot in 2017, resulting in his first PGA Tour win of that year. It was during a playoff with Daniel Berger at the Traveller’s Championship. On the 19th hole, the pro golfer was in a bunker. He proceeded cautiously and made a perfect bunker shot. Greller and Spieth ended up giving chest bumps to each other and went berserk.
