The Dubai Desert Classic is the second event of the new DP World Tour. The Englishmen Paul Casey is the defending champion this week. The event takes place at the beautiful Majlis Golf Course. The total prize money for the event is $8 million.

The two professionals Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry decided to give the Chase the Ace challenge a go this week Both the professionals got 50 golf balls each. Before these two tried their hands at this challenge. Last year Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy tried the same challenge with 50 balls each. Tommy and Shane tried to make an ace on a par three with the pin 149 yards back.

The two professionals tried their best with both coming agonizingly close to making aces on the par three. The duo was seen laughing and enjoying the challenge and in some instances even lost their cool. Tommy Fleetwood also kicked the golf bag when his ball nearly missed the hole. Indeed the challenge was an entertaining one for the fans to enjoy.

Dubai Desert Classic winner?

Victor Hovland won the 2022 Dubai Desert Classic. He won in a play-off against the Englishmen Richard Bland. Hovland made an eagle and birdie finish to force a playoff and won the event in emphatic style.
