However, it is crucial to note that DeChambeau is a science geek. He has built his playing style scientifically and continues to do so. But in 2019, he made an absurd comparison. After winning the 2019 Omega Dubai Desert Classic, DeChambeau gave an interview to the media. While speaking, he compared himself to the great scientist Albert Einstein.
Bryson DeChambeau wants to be the Albert Einstein of golf
We all know DeChambeau’s love for science. However, he once made a comparison between himself and Albert Einstein. “Einstein has always intrigued me with not being successful in school and incredibly successful after college,” said the 28-year-old golfer.
“And that’s kind of the same thing for me even though I loved SMU. I learned an incredible amount of knowledge, but you know, sometimes school doesn’t really prepare you for the real world.”

Furthermore, he tried to connect himself with Einstein and said, “This is a sport that hasn’t been figured out. I wanted to do that. And I want something in the game of golf that will do the same,” concluded DeChambeau.

Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau has taken baby steps in that direction. He is probably the first golfer who uses irons of the same length. Additionally, he has also muscled up and is trying to overwhelm the course with his power game. He has found decent success with this technique.

However, Bryson has struggled a lot on a few courses where the power game isn’t helpful. Therefore, the 2020 U.S. Open champion has shifted his focus toward increasing the ball speed. Bryson got this new perspective while competing at the Ling Drivers’ Championship last year.
