Nelly Korda is the World no. 4 in Women’s golf. The pro golfer has had an amazing amateur career and continues to make news every now and then with her incredible performance on professional tours. She has won several accolades and remains to be one of the key inspirations for women in golf.


Recently, Nelly paid a cute gesture in order to support a major career decision of someone very close to her. This was her boyfriend Andreas Athanasiou’s recent million-dollar decision.

Recently, Nelly was seen wearing a Blackhawks sweater in one of her games. This was translated as her attempt to support her boyfriend, Andreas Athanasiou.

As per sources, Athanasiou recently made a deal involving a huge sum of money. He signed a one-year, $3-million deal, with the Chicago Blackhawks.

The 27-year-old NHL star had come off two seasons with the Los Angeles Kings. Nelly Korda and Andreas Athanasiou have been dating since 2019. They first shared a selfie during Thanksgiving on Instagram which augmented the start of the couple’s relationship.

The couple is often seen supporting each other in their respective events. Nelly’s attempts to support her boyfriend by adorning the symbol of his team are one of many.

As is known, the Aramco team series contributed a new level of thrill to the Ladies’ European Tour. In an interview held during the same, Nelly had said,  “I think it’s a super exciting format. It’s always really exciting when you kind of get to do something a little different, a little unique. I think it brings in a little bit of new energy.

She added, “At the end of the day, you’re always just trying to grow the game of golf, get more people interested, show them it’s super exciting. I think this, the Aramco Team Series does that perfectly.”
