Let’s be real: golf fans are passionate about their clothing gear. It’s no surprise that everyone’s eyes have been fixed on a potential partnership between Charlie Woods and Greyson ever since he first wore the brand’s attire at the 2023 PNC Championship alongside Tiger Woods. Amidst the rumors of the partnership following a story reposted by the brand, Charlie Woods donned his father’s brand attire at the 2024 Adam Scott Junior Invitational. Similarly, he wore Sun Day Red’s attire at Pinehurst No. 2 in 2024.

The rumors of a partnership between Greyson and Charlie Woods still gained traction in the following months; however, since the rumors began, neither Jr. Woods nor Greyson has confirmed (or denied) them. Following a long period of silence, the world faced rumors that Jr. Woods rejected the brand’s offer in favor of his father’s Sun Day Red. Despite this missed opportunity, Greyson is keeping the game strong in golf, even in the junior circuit.

Undoubtedly, Kai Trump’s relationship with the iconic brand is strengthening, especially given the lack of updates regarding Charlie Woods and Greyson. Earlier this year, as the apparel brand sought another sponsor, rumors began to circulate again. Despite the excitement surrounding the rumors about Charlie Woods, the ball fell into someone else’s court (yet again!).

After Charlie Woods publicly declared his preference for his father’s brand, SDR, the company shifted its focus to another prominent figure. According to reports from earlier this year, Jon Rahm, the captain of Legion XIII, joined Greyson Clothier as his apparel sponsor for this season. However, for Charlie Woods’s counterpart, the 2025 season is looking promising for more than one reason.

Kai Trump is the rising face in junior golf

For Kai Trump, who recently visited the White House and took a picture with her grandfather, Donald Trump, her future looks bright in his eyes. Sure, Kai Trump might not have achieved great success at Sage Valley; however, in a vlog update about her visit, President Donald Trump remarked, “She’s a scratch player, which is amazing. I think someday she’s going to be much better than scratch.” According to her brand deals, NIL valuation, and social media following, the President may be right about more than one thing.

In January, she signed her first NIL deal with Leaf Trading Cards. Then, in February of this season, she secured a major endorsement deal with TaylorMade Golf, joining the ranks of famous golfers such as Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. At present, she ranks No. 1 in high school girls’ golf and holds the No. 81 spot in the On3 NIL 100. Her estimated NIL valuation is $1.2 million, making her the highest-valued female golfer among high school athletes.

Lastly, he 17-year-old golfer is constantly registering wins in her career. The junior golfer is gaining traction in the social media landscape by creating a personal brand that resonates with her fans. Trump has amassed over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, 3 million followers on TikTok, and 1.6 million fans on Instagram. Who do you think is taking home more wins in this regard in the sport?
