Golf analyst supports LPGA legend after her magnificent achievement

The U.S. Senior Women’s Open is going on this week at the Waverley Country Club in Portland, Oregon. The first round started on Thursday and LPGA veteran, 84-year-old legend JoAnne Carner, shot eight over 80. For players in golf, shooting their age is a fun achievement, but not everyone can do it. 

During her tenure, Carner, who is also known as Big Mama, won 43 LPGA titles which has been widely celebrated. Yesterday in the first round, Carner shot eight-over-80 and gave the credit for her performance to a lot of practice. And among the people who are celebrating this feat of Big Mama is Lisa Cornwell.

Cornwell, who is active on Twitter, posted a snippet of the shot of Carner on her handle and showed her support for the legendary player’s act by writing “MF’ing legend.”

This is the sixth time that Carner has shot her age or better. And just like Cornwell, fans are just as amazed by the LPGA legend and are showing their support in the comments.
