The young Woods is definitely a budding pro golfer to watch out for. The incredibly talented 14-year-old golfer competed at the largest junior golf national championship this week and dominated on the greens. The star kid has one of the strongest legacies to live up to, and while it may have been a hectic task for many, the youngster undoubtedly seems to be giving it his best shot and fairing well!

Charlie Woods has already established himself as a top name in junior golf. He is currently playing at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship. His performance so far has fans biting their nails with excitement and joy. While Charlie’s father, the great Tiger Woods, is on a hiatus due to his prevalent health restrictions, the 14-year-old is on his way to making him proud.

The golf prodigy is surely proving his worth to his famous father, Tiger Woods, and the world at large. Woods Sr. is aware of this, and it can be seen that he is sending his appreciation and well wishes to his beloved son at every step of the way.
Tiger Woods is also caddying for his son, Charlie, in this championship. While caddying, Tiger was seen complimenting his son in an Instagram post. The post read, “Charlie Woods with his 5th birdie of the day! He now leads the 14-15 division by two(2) shots through 10!” In the video, the famous Tiger Woods was heard praising his talented son, saying, “Well done!”

Charlie Woods made four birdies and two bogeys in the opening nine holes, making the turn in 2 under par 35. He held a two-shot lead heading to the back nine, where he made five more birdies and one bogey, closing out with a four-under-par, 33 on the back nine. He ended the event with an overall score of seven-under-par and won with a one-shot lead on Sunday.
It seems like, amid his father’s break from the sport, Charlie has taken to keep the Woods legacy going!

Tiger Woods has been dealing with many health problems for a while now. However, his condition became a major problem last year. Woods even had to undergo a couple of surgeries to address the underlying problems of his condition. His most recent surgery was in April this year.
