PGA Tour Pro’s uncalled participation in a dangerous act

Every golf course has water hazards, so gator encounters are nothing new. Cody Gribble’s gator encounter at the Arnold Palmer Invitational has gone viral on YouTube in the past. Gribble scared the alligator by touching it.

Again, another sight like that has come to the attention of the golf community. A tweet was shared recently where PGA Tour Pro Ben Crane can be seen trying the same stunt as Cody Gribble. The golfer slowly approached the alligator to touch it, however, once it made some movement, the 47-year-old got frightened.

To make it worse for him, it can also be seen that Ben Crane was running away from it for his dear life. The post carried the caption, “Ben Crane is no Cody Gribble around a gator.”

It takes a brave man to even think about doing such a dangerous thing. While Ben Crane couldn’t pull it off probably the way he had intended, it at least provided plenty of amusement to fans from around the world.
