Everybody in the golf world knows Phil Mickelson. After all, he is one of the best golfers of all time, with more than 50 championship wins worldwide. Interestingly, his incredible professional profile is not the only thing that makes him one of the fan favorites. 

The golfer loves his family. From almost quitting a major tournament for his wife’s delivery to putting a hold on his PGA Tour schedule to be with his wife when she suffered from breast cancer proves how much he cares for them! 

Mickelson met Amy in 1992 while she was a cheerleader on the Phoenix Suns NBA Cheerleading squad. The couple got married four years later, in 1996. 25 years later, the love between the couple hasn’t faded away as the golfer recently credited his wife to be the reason behind his facial hair. “As long as she (Amy) likes it, it’s here,” Mickelson had said. The loving couple has built a wonderful family with three children, two daughters, and a son.

How old are Phil Mickelson’s children? 

Amanda Brynn Mickelson is the eldest daughter of the Phil-Amy Mickelson couple. Notably, she was born a day after the 1999 U. S. Open, in which Phil Mickelson had won the runner-up position. 

On the other hand, Sophia Isabel Mickelson, the golfer’s second-born, was born on October 23, 2001. She will be 21 years old this year. Unlike her father, the golfer’s middle child loves arts more than sports. She has even acted in a movie.

Evan Samuel Mickelson, the couple’s only son, was born on March 23, 2003. Notably, he is the only one of the couple’s children who has shown interest in golf. According to reports, he has started taking golf lessons and is playing in minor leagues.

There have been rumors about having a new addition to the Mickelson family. It turned out to be the baby of the golfer’s younger brother and long-time caddie, Tim Mickelson. 

Although the rumor turned out to be true, the child neither belongs to Amanda Brynn Mickelson nor Sophia Isabel Mickelson. Since they are young and ambitious, the two concentrate on nothing but their studies now.

Mickelson has two daughters, and both of them go to college. After graduating from The Pacific Ridge High School, Amanda Brynn Mickelson now goes to Brown University. She majors in Egyptology. 

Meanwhile, his second-born, Sophia Isabel Mickelson, goes to Columbia University in the City of New York. According to her LinkedIn profile, she majors in Architect and will be graduating in 2024. Notably, both Amanda and Sophia Mickelson do charity work as their parents.
