Currently, he plies his trade on the PGA Tour of Australasia, where he has netted four titles so far in his career. His last victory came at the TPS Sydney, Hosted by Braith Anasta in 2022. Felton started playing golf at the age of three. Thanks to his father, who used to bring him to the course, Felton’s fondness for the game grew. In fact, his uncle also used to tee off in his local club near Feltons’ residence.

Interestingly, Felton also used to play different sports including Football, Soccer, and Tennis. The choice was between a career in Golf and Football. Jarryd Felton chose the former. In an interview with The West Australian, the 28-year-old said, “I guess I wasn’t really built for football anyway; I used to get smashed up a fair bit. It’s worked out well so far.

Jarryd Felton started traveling around the globe quite early playing amateur golf in different continents. He won eight amateur tournaments while working at a golf club. That’s how he also met another ‘Felton’.

Golf is also how he met his future wife, one-time major champion Hannah Green. Felton has never shied away from acknowledging the influence Green had on him. Neither has Green hidden her excitement after getting married.

They got married alright but had no time for a Honeymoon

On January 19, the Australian couple walked down the aisle. Just a week after tying the knots, Felton had to leave for his next tournament. “We were just trying to find the time when we could both do it and try to get everyone to come down. It was really good, lots of highlights,” Felton said about their marriage. They tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family members in Yallingup, a town some 200 miles south of Perth.

We’ll have a honeymoon eventually. Just need to find some time when we can do it,” Jarryd Felton added. A few months later, Felton traveled to Stateside in between to spend time with his wife. “Because I’ve had so many great things happen outside of golf, it has reflected on the play this year. My husband is coming out next week, so he’ll be out for the next five weeks. That has been really nice to look forward to.

His five-time LPGA Tour winner wife was in red-hot form. Green won twice this year in a span of two months. Jarryd Felton is on the hunt for a victory after being winless for two years. His best performance this year came at the Heritage Classic where he tied for 11th.
