Mike Thomas has always been an admirer of his son’s skills and has always been by his side, teaching him the best of golf. As per Mike Thomas’s interview with the PGA, JT wanted to play his first shot when he was just 18 months old, but when he turned 2 years old, he started hitting balls every day.
