Woods recorded his worst ever performance in his professional career that has spanned three decades. And it happened not too long ago!
At the 2020 Augusta Masters, Woods was probably looking to add to his major tally and bag his sixth green jacket. However, already out of contention coming into the final round, he further wrecked a hole and confirmed his loss.

Tiger Woods records his highest ever score
At the 2020 Masters, the first three rounds were disappointing as he carded a 68, 71, and 72. On Sunday, he was probably planning to give it his all and hope for the best. However, luck was just not in his favor. The 82-time winner on the PGA Tour fell victim to the tricky 12 hole.

On the par-3 hole, his tee shot rolled straight into Rae’s Creek. However, little did he know that this was only the start. Woods proceeded to take a drop shot and hit his third onto the green. Unfortunately, the slope pulled the ball under, and yet again; the ball found itself slipping into the water.
Another drop and a chip took his ball to the bunker on the other side of the green. Put into an awkward position, he blasted the shot over the green and; you guessed it, back into Rae’s Creek! Once more, his chip found the bunker when, finally, his eighth shot landed on the green. Missing a putt, the ball eventually found its home on the 10th shot.

Despite this dramatic hole, he finished T-38, and later, said, “This is unlike any other sport in which you’re so alone out there and you have to figure it out and you have to fight and no one is going to pull you off the bump and you just have to figure it out, and I did coming in.”
