Tiger Woods, to appear at the opening of one of his business ventures?

There is a high chance fans will witness Tiger Woods in January 2024 at the opening of the new PopStroke miniature golf facility in Tuscaloosa. The golf course was first hoping to tee off in fall 2023. However, due to unforeseen delays, they are now shooting for a mid-January 2024 opening.

PopStroke is a mini-golf entertainment company co-owned by Tiger Woods and TaylorMade Golf. So it is highly likely fans will witness the 48-year-old at the opening of the course in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

But fans should still not get their hopes up high enough, as construction is still going on. “There’s been a lot of progress out there the last few weeks,” said Shane Robichaud, president of PopStroke. “Electricians are out there finishing up. Our audiovisual-slash-tech team is doing their installation. The landscapers are finishing up, putting pavers out in the courtyard.”

The 48-year-old will also be gracing the golf world with his appearance at the major championships. He already holds lifetime exemptions at the Masters and the PGA Championship. He can also compete at The Open until he is 60. But for the 2024 US Open, he will most likely rely on a special exemption to compete. In the meantime, fans can watch the legendary golfer appear during the inauguration of the PopStroke miniature golf facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
