Turning pro in 2016, Bryson DeChambeau has steadily climbed the ladder of success. Often addressed as one of the elite players, the American sensation is known for making scientific calculations before going for a shot. Goes without saying, his approach has guided him towards numerous victories in his career.

Scrolling through the gone by years of the now LIV Golf player, he is a former US Open winner with numerous other tour titles. However, even though he enjoys his wins, it is not the titles that make the 29-year-old feel contended. Instead, it has been his calculated shots going the way he wants that makes him happy.

Bryson DeChambeau opens up about his love for right golf shots

Walking down memory lane, the year 2018 was one of the most pleasant ones for DeChambeau. Having his stars aligned, the California-born player marked his presence in the golf world with 4 PGA Tour victories; an achievement that instantly made him a looked-upon player of the sport.

Following his impressive win at the 2018 Northern Trust, he indulged in a conversation with a media house. During the conversation, he opened up about his victorious run throughout the year. “All this other stuff is fantastic and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” he said.

Apart from the Northern Trust, the other three victories for DeChambeau came at the Memorial Tournament, Dell Technologies Championship, and the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. While he celebrated his victories with utmost joy, it wasn’t enough to overpower his love for success in his shots.

As mentioned earlier, the ‘mad scientist’ of the golf world makes numerous calculations before going for a shot. Considering his efforts, it goes without saying that the success of such shots gave DeChambeau a vital feeling of satisfaction. Going ahead in the conversation, he admitted, “The No. 1 thing that makes me happy is seeing a golf ball go exactly the way I felt it should go.”

Four years and numerous victories later, DeChambeau continues to put in the same effort in his shots. Currently in Chicago, he is using his scientific methods to come out victorious in LIV Golf.
