Bryson’s play at the Porsche European Open 2018
Bryson DeChambeau almost won the Porsche European Open 2018. But his careless mistake cost him the title. He was playing his final four holes, five over par. He could finish -bogey-par-triple bogey after he put two balls in the water right after the other. His competitor, Richard McEvoy, could make the title his own. He could sink a lengthy birdie putt. It was on the 72nd hole, and he won his first European Tour title. He only used a single shot to claim the title.

After McEvoy won the European Tour 2018, he and DeChambeau quickly interacted. After the winning shot by McEvoy, DeChambeau went in for his eight and had a quick handshake. However, this couldn’t be hidden from the cameras. The handshake showed DeChambeau was disappointed.

He tied for sixth at The Open. He tweeted sarcastically, “Has to be said, as far as handshakes go, that was a good’n!”
