Golf is a tough game and the star players who sweat hard all day on the ground also need some entertainment to boost up their spirits. And while LIV players are in England getting ready for the $ 25 million LIV Golf’s Crushers London Tournament, the Saudi-backed league took care of them.

Providing a special treat for its top players, LIV recently reimagined them as royal kings and shared their portraits on their Instagram page. But it has left the fans perplexed as one of the portraits shares an uncanny resemblance to Rory McIlroy.

LIV Golf shares new art which reminds fans of Rory McIlroy

LIV Golf gave its players a little art treat in London. The Saudi-backed league shared a series of portraits of their players as the royal kings of England, which has left the players and the fans amazed and laughing as well. LIV Golf’s page shared on Instagram a series of pictures where players like Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Bubba Watson, Brooks Koepka, and Louis Oosthuizen are reimagined as the nobles kings and all are striking a variety of poses and expressions.

However many fans couldn’t help but feel that the portrait of Cameron Smith looked more like Rory McIlroy, who by the way hates LIV Golf.

Along with royal portraits, the players also got royal names for the day. Bryson DeChambeau was named Duke Bryson, Cameron Smith was named Sir Cameron, Bubba Watson was named Lord Bubba, Brooks Koepka was named Duke Brooke, and lastly, Louis Oosthuizen was named Viscount Louis. These enactments were also shared by the respective players who loved it as well.

Golf players react to their noble portraits

Koepka on his Instagram, posted a photo of him standing beside his portrait and wrote a funny caption – “Made you zoom.”

Bubba Watson also shared his portrait and had a good laugh over his new noble name. Other than these players, LIV Golf also made portraits for other players also which are being displayed in London. Dustin Johnson‘s wife, Paulina Gretzky, who is also accompanying her husband for the match, also shared Dustin’s portrait as Lord DJ. This act of LIV has definitely made its players happy and left the fans amused.

The Crushers London Tournament is being held this weekend from 7 – 9 July at the Centurion Club, Hertfordshire. LIV Golf is all set to host another great tournament after wrapping up with its event in Andalucia just recently.
