And when she was asked about how she met Woods for the first time, she said, “I was traveling the PGA tour with Mia and Jesper, so we met through friends.”.

Jesper Parnevik is a Swedish professional golfer who was also a friend of golf legend Tiger Woods. And during his visit to a tournament with his wife Mia, he introduced Woods to their nanny Elin Nordegren. However, Nordegren explained how she wasn’t even interested in talking to the golfer at first. And her reasons were pretty straight. “I wasn’t interested at first, ironically. I had my opinions about celebrities,” she said.

Although she wasn’t interested in the golf superstar, she talked about how she “fell for” Woods eventually. She said, “I got convinced that we were a lot alike and agreed to a date. The biggest reason I fell for him was because we had a lot of fun together.” Despite being a model, Nordegren was not used to the amount of attention Woods used to receive. But since she was dating the golfer, it was obvious that she was in the public eye.

She explained how it was very hard for her to adjust to the golfer’s stardom. She even described it as the “hardest thing” and that she was “a pretty shy and private person,” which made it tough for her.
