She once used her potent voice to defend Justin Thomas, who was criticized for using slur words. But what did the social media star tweet?

Justin Thomas may be considered one of the sweetest stars on the PGA Tour. However, the high competition drive of the golfer leads to JT displaying his frustration on the golf course. The 2-time Major winner was widely criticized for his antics, however, Paige Spiranac came to the aid of Thomas.

During the final round of the 2022 PGA Championship, Thomas started dropping some F-bombs. With hot mics surrounding the Southern Hills Country Club, the golfer’s frustration could be heard on ESPN’s telecast.

Justin Thomas loudly said, “Dude, you’ve got to be f***ing kidding me”. Later, on CBS’ telecast, Thomas could be heard cursing again when he hit a bad shot from the ninth fairway into a greenside bunker. Thomas muttered two expletives that were audible.

Following Thomas’ use of slur words, the Jupiter resident was scrutinized by the fans on Twitter. However, unlike others, Paige Spiranac supported JT and clapped back at the haters.

Spiranac tweeted, “Funny people are mad at JT for saying f*** but their kids are dancing to WAP on tiktok”. A song by Cardi B, WAP is popular for its vulgarity, which also has been used for a viral dance on TikTok. Though the influencer has defended the PGA Tour star for the usage of slur words, it wasn’t the first time.

Earlier this year, Thomas was criticized for using homophobic slurs at the Tournament of Champions. Spiranac slammed the golfer but then also urged the fans to not cancel him as he had already apologized. She said, “He should not be cancelled and I’m glad he apologised. But no one should ever defend the word he used”.

Not many can claim to be defended by Spiranac. But Justin Thomas has the support of the 29-year-old influencer. Moreover, Spiranac has also backed Thomas for staying loyal to the PGA Tour. Considering being known as a good guy on the Tour, it’s hard to hate Justin Thomas anyway.
