She said, “I would say probably, Cameron Diaz or Katherine Heigl. I like them. They both have a good sense of humor. I’m laid-back it seems like.”

In 2017’s ANA Inspiration, Thompson faced a major setback when she was the center of a controversy. The consequences of this rule-break controversy also cost Lexi a lot. She paid the debt of this incident with both a setback in her career and her mental health. She suffered recurrent nightmares for an extended period of time post this.

She said“That night was extremely rough. I was screaming, and crying. I had nightmares about it. Still occasionally do. But the fans were behind me the weeks after, and the months after. I stayed off social media after that. I just hung out with my family, and just kind of stayed to myself.”
