When Paige Spiranac Made a Strong Case on Why Her Content Is ‘Not Equivalent to Doing P*rn’

As the most famous golf entity on Instagram, Paige Spiranac often creates entertaining content for her loyal followers. Moreover, she tries hard to use her social media presence to raise awareness against online bullying. She spends her valuable time pinpointing the negative replies in her comment sections or speaking for others whenever they become victims of malicious netizens.  

Paige Spiranac used to be a professional golfer. However, she left it after experiencing hatred from her colleagues and spectators for her dress choices. Ever since then, she has been concentrating on her career as an internet influencer. And her response to a negative comment in 2021 proves that she wouldn’t leave this career because of such setbacks.

The Colorado native lived most of her life listening to criticisms from others. Even after amassing 3.7 million followers, she still gets hate messages online.

“If you’re playing it should be on P*rnhub!” According to thesun.co.uk, this was one of the comments when Spiranac wrote, “Golf should be on Nickelodeon,” on her Twitter profile in January 2021. Notably, the comment has since been removed from the comment section by the netizen.

Usually, the former pro-golfer tries to come up with a witty or funny answer to reply to such comments from a user. However, the then-28-year-old found it would be good to educate the user with some common knowledge. She wrote as a comment to the comment in question: “Wearing leggings to golf is not equivalent to doing p*rn.” 

Spiranac has always had trouble fitting into the professional golf world, mostly because of being different from others. However, it is noteworthy that she created a brand under her name by being different.

Since her dream to become a gymnast was broken due to multiple injuries, the 12-year-old Paige Renee turned to golf as an alternate career. Although she started great, Spiranac couldn’t continue to be the best as a pro-golfer. Additionally, the mental stress she got from society for dressing in her comfortable clothes while golfing led her to quit.
