But after his 49th birthday, he entered his prime social media phase. In 2018, Phil first used Twitter, followed by Instagram. After promoting his ‘The Match’ with Tiger Woods, he made himself quite an audience. He has been active on his Twitter account since. And in 2019, he brought another surprise for his fans.

On 19 June 2019, he dropped the first edition of his talk show, “Phireside with Phil.” He tweeted, “First edition of “Phireside with Phil.” I’ll be sharing some interesting stories that have taken place through the years and will hopefully have some guests in the future too. #PhiresidewithPhil”

His first edition of the ‘Phireside with Phil’ was a hit. She shared several stories from his career when he was part of the PGA Tour. Do you remember FDR’s famed “Fireside chats”? Phil’s first edition title was a nice spin on FDR’s chat show. There was a funny twist, though. The video looked like he was sitting on a toilet seat with a scented candle for his rescue. And you could see Phil wearing his World Golf Hall of Fame jacket. This made the show even more special. And to top this remarkable story, he included potty humor to it.

He talked about his first story, where he tells an incident about the memorial Tournament in 2006. Bad weather and darkness interrupted their second round. They had to reschedule the game for the following day around 7. He was on the 6th hole when he saw a tour official cutting a new spot. Phil got shocked, raised his hand, and yelled from a distance, “We’re not done yet.” The official kept cutting the hole after acknowledging Phil. So Phil went closer to him and repeated the same thing. Then later, the official said that someone had taken a “dump in the cup“!
