When Tiger Woods Spilled the Beans on Why He Broke Up With Lindsey Vonn: ‘What Was Hard Is We Never Had Time Together’

Tiger Woods is among the most celebrated sports entities of all time. Naturally, the paparazzi is on him 24/7, making it hard for him to keep his personal life private. At least that is how his image take a toss back in 2009 with all the revelations on his name.

Woods was married to Elin Nordegren until a scandal video of him broke out. The couples got divorced and decided to co-parent their children. Tiger and Elin put their past behind them and live with their respective partners.

Currently, Tiger is dating a former restaurant manager Erica Herman, since 2017.

However, Elin and Erica are not the only women Tiger had in his life. Many had claimed to be in a relationship with the goat over the period of time. However, Tiger had announced his relationship with only a few; the most celebrated among them was his relationship with the American professional skier Lindsey Vonn. 

Why did Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn broke up? 

The skier and golfer were a perfect match. Both were the most talented and skillful professionals in their respective sports, and shared a mutual understanding; however, they broke up after three years of relationship.

In an interview, Tiger explained the reason for their break up. He said, “Well, with Lindsey, what was hard is we never had time together.” He explained that Lindsey had to practice in South American countries and competitions in European countries, so she was always traveling. “And I can’t travel because I have the kids—my off weeks, I’m devoted to my kids—and I have to be here.”  

Tiger further added that his relationship with Lindsey was fantastic, but it didn’t work out since their priorities were different. “It just could not work. It was doing an injustice to both of us,” he concluded.

Although they are not a couple anymore, they decided to remain friends. And they both are happy now in their respective lives without any hard feelings for each other. Their preferences were their profession and his kids, in Tiger’s case. So, they did what they thought was best for each other; they broke up.
