Nelly Korda had an unforgettable 2024 season, winning seven times on the LPGA Tour. She started the 2025 season strong with appearances at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions (T2) and the Founders Cup (T7). After those two events, the world No. 1 decided to take a break, and she did not compete in Thailand last week. She missed these first few Asia-based events last year too.

During a press conference at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Nelly Korda opened up about her plans for the 2025 season, sharing that she would take a few weeks off before returning to play in the Seminole Pro-Member event.

“Probably a week or week and a half, but I’m going to play the Seminole Pro-Member, so that’s cool. I really enjoy playing that. So not too much time off because I don’t want to show up too rusty for my partner there”, she said.

The Seminole Pro-Member, held annually on the Monday following the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing, is one of the most prestigious and competitive events in the golfing world. While the tournament is exclusive, it’s also renowned for its charitable initiatives, which complement the outstanding golf displayed by the players. The field features top Tour professionals, as well as high-profile figures such as power brokers, celebrities, and CEOs. Apart from that, she will also be a part of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, which is scheduled to begin on March 27.
