The Christmas break is the final time we will see the golfers away from the course for so long. As the 2025 season is about to start, fans are eager to watch their favorites in action at the course. While Xander Schauffele had a great 2024 season with 2 major wins and multiple great finishes. He will be the center of attention for the fans and himself.

The American professional golfer, after winning two majors, got close to the grand slam but still hasn’t reached it yet. However, with a new season, he will be aiming for the grand slam and the green jacket to add to his achievements list. While he played last at the ZOZO Championship in October, which wasn’t the ideal conclusion to the golfing season as he finished at T41.

Now with the 2025 season, he will be aiming to start on a high to reach his career achievement. The first tournament that Schauffele will be featuring is The Sentry, teeing off on January 2, 2025. Last season, he was able to secure himself in the top 10 spots. With his eight appearances at The Sentry, he has a record 4 top-10 finishes, with his best being a T5 finish in 2021.

Further along the year, Schauffele secured his return to The Plantation Course at Kapalua after two major wins in 2024. Along with the victories, the 31-year-old has secured 13 top-10 finishes, including 8 top-5. This great season even helped him earn 2nd rank according to the OWGR and was a contention for the PGA Tour Player of the Year award. Even after such a year, he doesn’t think he is in his prime yet.

According to the fans, it was a great year for the American golfer with great finishes and victories. Schauffele hasn’t denied that, but for him, it wasn’t his best. During an interview with Golf.com, Schauffele was asked whether he is in his prime years yet. Surprisingly, instead of agreeing to it, he said, “I should be a little bit more professional about it, but the kid in me is learning quickly that I am getting older now.” He further shared, “I feel like I haven’t entered my prime yet, but I feel older, no doubt.”

His superb finishes were always being argued upon. But after the Royal Troon of The Open Championship finish, the argument has found its conclusion.
