Tiger Woods is an inspiration to many young golfers around the world. The 15-time major winner has tons of records under his name. Out of all the fans the golfer has, Woods’ son, Charlie is his biggest supporter. And the young man is turning out to be just like his old man, according to Woods’ old friend and professional golfer Justin Thomas.

Justin Thomas talked about Tiger Woods’ son Charlie

Woods has only a few friends in the golf fraternity. After the PGA Tour and LIV Golf controversy, the golfer is only close to the ones on the former tour. And five-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas is one of them. Thomas has been very close to Woods and is also a great friend and mentor to Charlie.

Woods has been working hard on teaching Charlie how to play golf. But it is not just the game that Woods’ son has been learning about from him. Thomas once revealed an unexpected similarity between the father and son that fans were shocked to know about.

There was a time when Woods and Charlie played alongside in a special father-son tournament named the PNC Championship. Next to them was Justin Thomas, who teamed up with his old man, Mike Thomas.

Before the match, Thomas talked about how Charlie always wanted to beat him in golf no matter what. He said, “Although he’s never beaten me in golf or a putting contest, he still talks trash just like his dad,”. 

Thomas has made numerous records on the field himself. He wanted to win the match against Charlie and “shut his little mouth up,”.

Woods once said that Thomas was like his “younger brother and Charlie’s older brother.” And the golfer has thus supported them in every aspect of their lives.

Woods said Thomas was close to the family

Woods considers Justin Thomas a part of his family.

“We are extremely close with the family and we do a lot of things together,” Woods said while talking about Thomas after the PNC Championship. The two even visit each other and have lunch together sometimes.
