With an average of 400 yards on each hole, the players must use their skills with perfection to earn the top place in the tournament. One loose shot can add a score for the players, resulting in the slipping on the ranking list. The course has par-5s, par-3s, and some par-4s with a combination of desert and links, including dunes. Some holes will test the driver, while on the others, players will have to use the wedges to make the right shot. Every hole at Albany has a variety of options in the teeing area offering opportunities for the golfers. Last year the course was ranked at 25th position in Golfweek’s best list.
