Which Is the Best Christmas Movie? Nelly Korda, John Daly, Justin Thomas, and Other Celebrated Golfers Pick Their Favorite Holiday Flicks

This year the LPGA and PGA Tour golfers made Christmas movie recommendations from the greens of Ritz-Carlton GC, the families who played at the event a few weeks before Christmas, have left a message for the masses by sharing their favorite movies to watch during the festivities.

While the Christmas yule log burning by Masters has gotten much love, the recent revelation by PNC golfers will surely hype up the Christmas spirit within the golf community, making the season even more joyous.

What do John Daly and other pros watch during Christmas?

The family event of the PGA Tour, the PNC Championship concluded by crowing Team Langer the champions for the fifth time. The event had 20 families from both the LPGA and the PGA Tour tee it up against each other. Although only one could be the winner, it was evident that all the teams had a great time.

From the many enjoyable moments, one has been shared with the public. The Golf Channel shared a post on their X handle, asking golfers about their favorite Christmas movie. Leading the way was John Daly, who shared that his favorite holiday movie without a doubt happened to be “Christmas Vacation.”

The 2x major champion quickly expressed his love for the movie due to the presence of Chavey Chase as he said, “Chavey Chase baby.” Daly was not the only one who loved Christmas Vacation, Mike Thomas, Justin Thomas’s father also shared his favorite movie to be the same.

While Justin Thomas opted for something, that was one of the best movies from his pre-teen years, the 2x PGA Championship winner awarded “The Elf” as his all-time favorite Christmas movie. It was one of the most-voted movies as well, as Jim Furyk, Jason Langer, Greg Price, and Jordan Spieth chose the same.

With various favorites coming forward, The Elf was the most voted, but there were other movies that made it to the list. Annika Sorenstam’s choice of movie stood out the most with The Grinch, While her son, Will McGee, opted for Home Alone. The little one eagerly shared his favorite movie when asked.

His favorite movie was also the all-time favorite of the LPGA Tour cover girl, Nelly Korda. The 1x major champ loves to binge-watch as she recently revealed her “toxic behavior” and obsession with watching series. The 8x LPGA Tour winner thought for a second and then acclaimed Home Alone as her favorite “for sure”. While movie with just one fan was Die Hard, as only Padraig Harrington claimed it as his favorite.
