Amidst ongoing confusion concerning the merger, LIV Golf has started planning for its upcoming 2024 season. Even though there is no confirmation whether LIV Golf will be teaming up with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour in their upcoming edition or not, that has not stopped the Saudi-backed league from continuing its planning for 2024.

They have already started their promotions, new signings, and expansion of their teams ahead of the upcoming season, despite the uncertainty surrounding the PGA Tour deal. They are set to have a worldwide schedule. All the teams involved will participate in a fourteen-event schedule. Eight of these events will be held internationally, whereas six of them will be held in the USA.

LIV Golf CEO and commissioner, Greg Norman, also shared his thoughts about the merger. He said, “I just hope [the agreement] does work; I really do. That’s why I wanted to speak to Jay Monahan a long time ago to explain the value of our product. They chose not to. I’ll leave it up them to figure [the framework agreement] out.”

LIV Golf is also expecting to add more major names to its roster in 2024. LIV Golf and PGA Tour have till 31 December to finalize a framework for the merger. A lot of planning and preparation has already gone into the 2024 season. Only time will tell what will happen to the expected merger in the coming days. However, LIV Golf officials have chosen to leave no stone unturned in their preparation for the future.
