She had also worked as a Support Specialist at Mission Financial Planning. Lise got Wyndham into golf during his childhood days.

Her support and encouragement definitely worked wonders for her son. Talking to Golf.com about her belief in his success, Wyndham said: “Obviously it’s probably something she knew would always happen because she’s very positive and always thinks the best of me, so she’d be like, ‘That’s right where my Wyndham belongs. But I think she’d be more proud of who I am today and what I’ve become as a person.”

Although Lise never played golf herself she made sure that Wyndham continued with his practice. Wyndham had previously said, “She was not a golfer, so outside of after getting me into golf, she didn’t do much as far as golf.” He confirmed that Lise was always there to console him when he had bad days on the course. “She was always there to comfort me.”

After she died in 2013 while he was at Oklahoma State. It was a very tough phase for Wyndham who wanted to quit golf. He was distracted and frustrated with his performances.

After he took a transfer to Oregon, life became a bit easier but he still missed her massively. During his practicing years, Lise would leave little encouragement notes for her son to boost his morale and her one message has been stuck with him ever since. She wrote: ‘Play big’. Wyndham explained what it meant. “Play for something bigger than yourself. And I’ve taken that to heart.”
