Recently, an amateur golfer came into the limelight after he was seen carrying his own bag on the course. He is known to not invest extra money towards a pushcart.

As this came to the attention of people, this young amateur golf enthusiast received harsh comments on the course from his club members. But amidst the criticism, appraisal from Reddit users came to the golfer as a boon and in his favor.

Reddit surprises this amateur golf enthusiast with support

This 29-year-old golfer, who recently joined golf, took to Reddit to write about the discouraging comments he receives on the course from his club members, since he carries his own bag. He felt he was quite active due to gym work and could carry his own golf equipment. He even mentioned that he won an 18-hole tournament last week and that these comments were making the scenario worse. He even quoted the comments, one of which said, “No serious golfer carries his bag.

But surprisingly, people on Reddit were quite sensitive and left their humble comments beneath the post. Two people said, “I think it is awesome that you carry. Keep doing it. You are obviously in great shape and doing things like that will help you stay that way”  and bunch of morons…do your thing, walking is awesome”.

Another two said, They hate you cause they ain’t youand “‘Sorry what did you say? I have a hard time hearing from way up here at the top of the leaderboard.Referring to that, people are jealous of him, and the only thing that comes to mind is his leaderboard status.

Are push carts very pricey?

Push carts basically provide golfers with an easy and unique experience. These carts help golfers move their stuff around the field. But while they are quite useful, they are also quite demanding financially. Unlike traditional golf carts, these push carts are a bit less expensive, yet still pricey. They range from $150 to $1700 and $2000.
