Early life and career of Adam Svensson
Adam Redmond Sevnsson was born on December 31, 1993 to Frank Svensson and Tina Nilsson. The youngest of the family got early exposure to the sport, all thanks to his father. The journey began as his father started teaching him the sport. Well, it still continues as his father is his swing coach. The Canadian professional with the right training under his father started to turn heads with his performance at the junior level, as he won numerous tournaments. He won the British Columbia Junior Championship twice, the 2010 Callaway World Junior, and the 2010 B.C. Amateur Championship.
Notably, his journey kept on the rise as he joined the collegiate level. Svensson played college golf at NCAA Division II Barry University in Florida, along with pursuing sports management. During that course, he won nine tournaments. Even was accoladed with Phil Mickelson Freshman of the year (2013), Jack Nicklaus Division II Player of the Year (2013-14), and the NCAA First-Team All-America honors twice. Interestingly, he joined the list of most collegiate season wins, matching Tiger Woods and Alex Carpenter.
The professional career of the Canadian pro
Soon after his junior years, he chose to turn pro in 2015 and started playing on the PGA Tour Canada. As expected, the golfer continued to leave a mark with his performance. He was runner-up twice on the Canadian Tour, while having three wins on the SwingThought Tour (Now the NGA Tour) in 2015. Besides this, he was also a medalist at the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament, helping him with an exemption for the 2016 schedule.

Continuing further, he won thrice at the Korn Ferry Tour, which led him to the PGA Tour card in 2019. However, with the inconsistent performance, he could not retain it. But it didn’t take him long to regain the tour card, as in 2021-22, he was back on the PGA schedule. Not just back, but he claimed his first win soon at the 2022 RSM Classic with a two-stroke difference.
As of 2025, the golfer holds 7 professional wins under his name and a whopping $9.8 million earnings from the PGA Tour. The golfer’s commitment to the sport has helped him with a constant rise after struggling to maintain his PGA Tour card. After the 2021 Korn Ferry win, he shared, “I’ve committed my whole life to this game… I put in so much hard work… the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life. Frank Svensson is still his swing coach and has played a pivotal role in his life.
