Alex Noren, a name that has been in the headlines for his improving performance since he turned professional in 2005. The golfer, who first made a mark at the Challenge Tour and then at the DP World Tour since 2007, has been turning heads. Who is Jessica Kovacs?
Jessica Kovacs is a Swedish media professional and entrepreneur. She was born and brought up in Stockholm. She’s a graduate of Stockholm University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and Management. After her degree, she joined as a marketing assistant at Abbot, Stockholm. During her professional journey as a marketer, she started a podcast named OPodden, which interviews successful Swedish women about their careers and life challenges. She started the podcast in July 2014.

She also recorded one podcast with her friend Julia Anjou, focusing on babies and titled “BABYKAOS.” Unfortunately, Kovacs ended the podcast in May 2016. But, regardless, Alex Noren is proud of his wife and even promoted his wife’s podcast on his Instagram. Eventually, this was the stepping stone for her, as she later became a broadcaster with her transition from podcasting to television and radio.

Further, in her career, she followed her passion and co-founded Ryder Equestrain. The company offers innovative safety equipment for riders, featuring a wide range of options. She showcased her company on LinkedIn, where she included the caption: “Ryde Equestrian was founded by women that wanted to challenge the equestrian sport in an unusual and creative way, and not be limited or controlled by culture and tradition. With influences from other sports and the urge to bring the equestrian sport into the future, they founded Ryde Equestrian.”
For its product testing, the brand showcased its MO during the 2024 Ryde Tour. She started the company in November 2022 and has been active in the role of co-founder till now. Eventually, she moved to Florida and had to give up on her past ventures, but that didn’t stop her from being the biggest supporter of Alex Noren and the children.

Alex Noren’s transition into a family man
Alex Noren and Jennifer have been together for quite some time, since the New Year’s Eve of 2014. The couple eventually got engaged on their home balcony and got married on September 2017. The duo, after their marriage, welcomed two children, a daughter, Iris, and a son, Roy. The family, which now consists of four, has been the priority for the two. The golfer, who struggled with an injury in early 2025, has shared how his children have made his recovery worthwhile.

Noren has had his hands full when it comes to fatherhood, that’s why. He even became the coach of his daughter’s softball team in Jupiter, Florida. Speaking of which, Noren said, “It was awesome, the best thing I’ve ever done.” Furthermore, he has been supportive of the kids’ interest in sports. He has been sharing the small wins of his kids rather than just focusing on the big achievements.

Professionally, things didn’t change much for the golfer, even after all these things. After the marriage, Noren won the HNA Open de France in 2018, and the cameras caught Jennifer and their daughter on the gallery sidelines. Later, at the Masters Par-3 Contest, the French Open, and the British Masters, the golfer was seen alongside his family. Even he shared that, “I got some good perspective, like spending that much time kind of in the middle of a career, like hopefully I’ll play a lot longer. But to kind of have that time to see the family a lot, it’s been nice.”
