Canadian professional golfer, Brooke Henderson, is currently leading the field at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. The golf star has numerous victories in her name on the LPGA tour. And while most of the credit goes to her amazing golfing talent, a major part of her success also comes from her caddie!

Multiple-times ‘female athlete of the year‘ and former major winner, Brooke Henderson, has tons of fans across the globe. But so does her caddie! Strange, isn’t it? Well, there is something special about Henderson’s bond with her special longtime caddie. But what is so special about the person behind Henderson’s bag?

Most players have to wait to leave the 18th hole to celebrate their victory with their families. However, Brooke merely needs to turn to her side to hug her sister after all her spectacular wins. The former champion has been traveling the world playing tournaments along with her sister Brittany Henderson. A decent golfer herself, Brittany has carried the golf star’s bag for many of her victories. Former Quebec junior champion, Brittany has received most of her fame because of her superstar sister Brooke.

Out of her 12 LPGA Tour victories, Brooke has had Brittany by her side for 11 of them. And that includes a major championship as well. While fans often consider siblings in the same field as rivals, these two have been the perfect team for years. “I definitely couldn’t do this without her,” Brooke once said after winning the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2016.

Brittany also holds a great skill set in the sport, like her sister Brooke. The caddie recorded a career low of 68 along with 22 rounds finished at par or even better. She also holds the Big South Championship 54-hole record with a 2-under 214, which she made in 2012.

Other than carrying her bag, Brittany also plays a major role in helping her sister during the game. Whenever Brooke gets to a consuming turn during tournaments, she finds her sister there to support her to make the right choices. “Brit was really key, reminding me that ‘we’re still in it, just relax and hit good shots. Try to hit fairways, try to hit greens. Just keep it simple.’” Brooke explained.

Currently, at the sixth rank globally, Henderson is trying her best to bring home the title for the HGV Tournament. And with her sister on her side, the chances of her victory seem pretty high.
