Who is Shanel Naoum?

Naoum was born and raised in Jacksonvillе, Florida, where she still lives today. The young lady attended and graduated from the University of North Florida and received her degree in Bachelor of Science. For higher studies, she went to Palmer College of Chiropractic to get her doctorate in chiropractic medicine. 

Naoum works as a chiropractic physician at Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, a clinic that provides comprehensive orthopedic care to patients. The LIV Golfer wife specializes in manual manipulations, auto injuries, and extremity and spinal disorders. As per her bio on her company’s website, she believes in evidence-based care and works to improve spinal alignment and restore functionality for her patients. 

How did they meet for the first time?

Naoum and Smith are believed to have met in Jacksonvillе, Florida. The 29-year-old owns a $2.4 million home near Jacksonville, which he purchased in April 2020. He was often spotted in his house spending his off-the-course time. However, the exact date of their meeting is unknown, but they are thought to have started dating in 2022 or earlier. 

The supportive girlfriend

Naoum is often seen cheering for Smith at his golf tournaments, although she prefers to stay out of the spotlight. She was the first photographed with Smith in 2022 after he won the Players Championship. The couple was seen posing for a picture with his trophy and smiled at the camera. Later, she appeared with him in his family photo. The PGA Tour’s official website posted a family picture of the LIV Golfer after he returned to his beautiful home.

In September 2022, the couple was spotted at the LIV Golf Invitational in Chicago, where they hugged and kissed after his victory and left the green arm-in-arm with the trophy.

Naoum is not a fan of his mullet

We all know Smith’s love for his mullet hairstyle, which he has sported since 2021. In the press conferences at the Sony Open in Hawaii, the Aussi golf superstar opened up about his famous hairstyle. He said, “It just come around, I saw a few of the rugby league boys at home doing it. It was a great time to do it during quarantine, just something fun.” He has said that he considers it his good luck charm and that he plans to keep it for a while, even though his girlfriend is not a fan of it. 

“I would have to apologize to my girlfriend, it’s not going away”, he told the rеportеrs in 2021. “I mean, it’s, I feel like it’s part of me now”. However, we are not sure if he was talking about Naoum or not.

One thing that many people don’t know is that Naoum can speak two languages fluently: English and Arabic. Her bilingualism might have helped her in her career. Because she can provide care to a diverse range of patients. Despite being the wife of a famous golfer, she kept her life very private. However, she does have an Instagram account, but it’s private, with more than two thousand followers.
