Cameron Young, the PGA Tour youngster, is not an unknown name or face in the golf world. Thanks to his position in the top 20 in the OWGR and his professional finishes, he has been able to achieve quite a lot of fame. Despite not having a major tournament to his name since he turned pro in 2019, he has finished twice in the top three at these championships.

Additionally, he also has several runner-up titles to his name on the PGA Tour. Prior to the traditional league, Young had been a part of the Korn Ferry Tour. After winning back-to-back on the Korn Ferry Tour, he waltzed his way into a more competitive arena. Who is Kelsey Dalition, and how did she and Cameron Young meet?

Kelsey Dalition had been a part of Cameron Young’s life for a very long time, per numerous sources. But it was only after Young turned Pro in 2019 that they got together legally. Dalition was born in the same year as the golf star, 1997. However, that is not the only commonality they share.

One trait, in particular, is their liking for a private life. Despite being a famous golfer, Young doesn’t have a public social media account. He is mostly a private person, and so is his wife! Thus, not much is available about her education, earnings, or early life.

As per The SportsLite, Dalition and Young met each other through their shared interest in golf. This implies that the professional’s wife is also a golfer. Though her reign does not spread across professional realms like her husband’s, the game still connects the couple.

When did the Young couple get married?

According to numerous sources, Cameron Young and Kelsey Dalition had been dating for some time prior to their marriage. At the age of 23, the sources estimate the period of their wedding to be between late 2020 and early 2021.

Not so surprisingly, the golfer’s best man at his wedding was his caddie at the time, Scott McKean. The former caddie and the golfer have been close to each other since their college days at Wake Forest.

The encouraging and supportive side of Kelsey Dalition’s persona

Not only in the individual tournaments but also during team events, Dalition has been present to lend her support to Cameron Young. In the 2022 President’s Cup, where golf wives joined in to support their husbands, Kelsey was also one of them! Just like the rest of the crew, she was also dressed up in red, white, and blue, showcasing her support for the American team.

Additionally, Dalition and baby Henry joined the PGA Tour Pro during the 2023 Masters. He managed to finish in the top 10 at T7 while his wife participated in the tournament’s tradition of wives caddying for their partners.

Following the Masters, at the 2023 PGA Championship, Kelsey suggested her husband shave off his beard. And proving to the world that he was the doting husband that many had made him out to be, Young followed through on his wife’s request and turned up at the Oak Hill Country Club for the year’s second major with a completely new look.

Following the nuptials, almost a year later, Kelsey Dalition gave birth to a cute baby boy. The couple named their son Henry! Young’s son has helped ease the pressure that professional golf can lead to. The wife and son of the player spend most of the time accompanying him on the greens.

However, since Young is mostly competing in one professional event or another, we can get an idea of Dalition’s personality. She is a caring and loving mother and partner. Moreover, through the pictures captured of her at the course cheering her husband on, she’s always seen to be wearing a broad smile and having a kind look, showcasing that she’s ever supportive of Young’s career!

In one of the interviews with regard to his family, Young, expressing his love for his wife and his kid, once said, “Honestly, they’ve been out with me the last couple weeks, and it’s been such a nice change of pace to be with them on the road.” Currently, the young couple resides in Jupiter, Florida, the hub of golf pros.
