Behind every successful personality lies their partner as constant support. The LPGA pro, Jessica Korda, has that support in the shape of her husband, Johnny DelPrete. The LPGA pro started her professional journey in 2010. Korda competed in the United States Junior Solheim Cup. She also won the South Atlantic Amateur in 2010 after she ranked T19 in her U.S. Open debut. 

The long-time dating couples exchanged their vows at The Pelican Club in Jupiter, Florida in December 2021. Only selected close friends were able to witness the magic happen. The list included Alison Lee, Sophia Popov, and Jodi Ewart. And, of course, Korda’s dear siblings, Sebastian Korda and LPGA star, Nelly Korda, also attended the wedding. Nelly was the host, welcoming every guest.

Not many know, but DelPrete was also a golfer before turning his career toward real estate. According to his LinkedIn page, he was a PGA pro from 2011 through 2017. DelPrete is 6 foot 1 inch tall, and according to Bleacher Report, they featured him in eight Web.com Tour events. All of them took place between 2012 and 2014. 

According to a biography for the Web.com golf tour, DelPrete’s background has many facts about his life which were unknown. He loves to make putts at hole 18. The former golfer has a favorite hole in the green, and he gets thrills making the putt on it. One more unknown fact was that DelPrete loved cards. Yes, the former realtor never traveled without a deck of cards. 

He is not just a golf fanatic or a real estate agent. His keen interest in movies landed him Wedding Crashers as his favorite movie. However, he appreciated TV shows like Prison Break and Breaking Bad. And the list of favorites also includes Taylor Swift, Italian food, and Prague.

According to Bleacher Report, Korda’s husband has mentioned one university on his LinkedIn profile. The Florida native attended the University of Louisville and the University of Mississippi before he chose golf and became a pro in 2010. He is not very fond of social media platforms. On his Twitter handle, he mostly talked about golf and other sports; however, he has not posted since 2016. However, you can find him active on Instagram for business purposes.

2013 was the showcase of incredible trust between the couple. Korda fired her caddie in the middle of the tournament, and guess who replaced him? Yes, it was her then-boyfriend DelPrete. According to the Bleacher Report, Korda’s game improved after her boyfriend joined her from the gallery and surprised everyone. However, the whole drama was stated as a TV sideshow.

Everyone has a dark past, and so does Korda’s husband. The most shocking fact about DelPrete was his association with the Florida prostitution and human trafficking sting. They arrested him on one Friday morning in February 2019, along with other big names. The Martin County Sheriff’s Department has the complete details of his arrest. However, he denied the charges.
