Olly Brett grew up in Leicestershire, England. Initially, he started out making yardage books on the LET and the DP World Tour. After that Brett moved to a full-time caddying role in his late teens. Additionally, he has partnered with professionals since 2017. 

In 2023, after turning pro, Zhang, by October had partnered with Olly Brett. For her partnership, she said, “I felt like maybe it was time for something different, and Olly was just such an amazing pick.” Since then, the duo has been together, achieving splendid success with the performances.

Olly Brett first partnered with Danielle Kang in late 2017 and has been his primary caddie for the longest time. The partnership, which lasted for 5 years, had multiple notable wins. Four of five of Kang’s wins came during that span, including the 2022 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. In 2023, the duo parted ways, citing nothing negative. Since the partnership, the great result has been evident. In the first week together at the Maybank Championship, Rose finished T3 to set the tone. Further in the 2024 season, the performance even improved as she clinched her second win at the Cognizant Founders Cup. Additionally, she achieved multiple top-10 finishes.
