“I am so thankful to have found you to spend my life with.” shared Sepp Straka on his Instagram profile. But who was he talking about? Well, the PGA Tour Pro had said so in a caption after uploading a series of pictures of his wife, Paige Dean, on his social media handle. Naturally so, since he owes much of his success to his partner off the course.

The golfer has a total of three professional wins, along with 17 top-10 finishes in the PGA Tour after turning pro. Although the success he raked in should be credited to his talents on the course, he wouldn’t have been able to achieve what he did without the support of his wife, whom he met while playing against her alma mater.

Meet Paige Dean, Sepp Straka’s wife

The PGA Tour Pro met Paige Dean back when he was in college playing golf for the University of Georgia. Interestingly, the two met each other through mutual friends when his college team was playing against Auburn University. It might have been because the two were from their opponent’s college but their entire first meeting was reportedly filled with banter, all the while antagonizing each other.

“Is it weird that I liked the banter back and forth?” recounted a curious Dean when thinking back on their initial meetup. However, she was quick to agree to the question as she replied, “Honestly, I think that’s what sparked the connection – that and some encouragement from great friends. Before we knew it, we were meeting each other’s families at Christmas!” Well, with their fateful encounter being such an exciting one, it surely makes one curious as to how the rest of their life went!

When did Straka get married to Paige Dean?

The two lovebirds had gone on a vacation to Mexico back in December 2020. Curiously enough, the golfer’s wife, in an interview, recalled how she anticipated Straka proposing to her during the trip. But nothing of that sort happened and consequently, Paige Dean let her guard down in front of the golfer.

However, soon after, on a normal Friday at Gianmarco’s Wine Bar, the athlete asked her to come over to him. “Just get over here,” he said, after which he went ahead to grab both her hands romantically, all the while shaking nervously. Notwithstanding his anxiousness, he got down on one knee and asked, “This has been a long time coming, Paige. Will you marry me?”

Unbeknownst to her, the whole bar was in on the proposal, as Straka had rented it out for the night. “The private party after dinner was for us!!” recounted an excited Paige as she added, “The entire Gianmarco’s staff was in on it, and we even have a super special video of the proposal. Our family and friends enjoyed a meal together and we got to bask in all the love and excitement.”

Well, the rest is history, as the two soulmates tied the knot on September 27, 2021, at Shoal Creek. Meanwhile, the golfer was able to clinch his first victory on the PGA Tour the following year, five months after their marriage, at the 2022 Honda Classic by beating Shane Lowry with a score of 10-under 270.

Nevertheless, Sepp Straka does tend to keep the details regarding his relationship away from the public eye. Even so, many of his fans would undoubtedly be wondering what the PGA Tour Pro’s wife does for a living, along with the finer details surrounding his soulmate, who is currently pregnant with their baby.

What does Straka’s wife, Paige Dean, do for a living?

The golfer’s wife was born on September 30, 1992, and is a sister to three siblings: Myers, Lindy, and Laura. She completed her secondary education at Sulligent High School in 2011, after which she enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Auburn University. After graduating from the same school in 2015, the professional’s future wife got into the Harbert College of Business to gain a Master’s degree in Accounting, which she received the following year.

She started off her career path by working as an assistant secretary at the Sulligent Housing Authority in May 2009, followed by becoming a Tax Intern at EY after her undergraduate degree. Moreover, later on, after working as a Martin Fellow at Auburn University’s Office of Professional and Continuing Education for a year, she came back to EY as a Staff Tax Accountant in 2016 and worked there till 2018.

Now, Sepp Straka’s wife is currently employed at Southern Veterinary Partners, where she was initially hired as an acquisitions manager. Fortunately, she received a promotion a couple of years later, became the Senior Acquisitions Manager, and finished her fourth year at the company.

Currently, the two are happily living their married life and are expecting a baby soon. Fascinatingly, Sepp Straka shared a picture of him with Paige at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy, where she was sporting a baby bump. Anyhow, Straka has a bright future ahead of him on and off the course, especially with such a beautiful wife and soon-to-be-born child by his side.
