There is no doubt that Tiger Woods has had a career full of record-breaking achievements. Even during his long professional hiatus, the famous golf pro has made a difference. He is instrumental in opening up the PGA Tour to Netflix and the rest of the world in general.

In a recent podcast, Chad Mumm described the time in an airplane when he was watching Tiger Woods play at the 2008 US Open. Woods was displaying his mastery all over the Torrey Pines’ greens. Chad drew a vivid picture of how it started with him watching the pro’s perfect game, which led to the entire flight joining in and cheering for Tiger’s glory.

Chad Mumm said, “That’s the magic. My favorite watching Tiger Woods story was the 2008 US Open in Torrey Pines. I am flying back… I was on a Delta flight back…They got the TVs, right? It’s the final round of the US Open. It’s like a five-hour flight, so it was perfect. We were taking off right as Tiger was teeing off. I was the only person watching golf and by the time he got to the 71st hole. I remember it was like the entire airplane.”
