During many golfing events, the golf fans put a black ribbon around their arms as a gesture of respect and final goodbye to the departed. Recently, the golfing world lost two veterans, who had created many firsts and contributed a lot to the game of golf.
It is speculated that the golf fans chose to don the black ribbon once again at Andalucía Masters to pay their respects to the recently deceased veteran golf announcer Ivor Robson. Robson passed away at 83 a few days ago.
